Saint Mark Lutheran School

We chose St Mark for our oldest daughter when she was in kindergarten. We had heard good things about the school. I especially liked the small size (less intimidating for a 5 year old), it’s not too far from home and that they teach Christian values. We have been very happy with all of her teachers thus far (communication, fun and challenging curriculum). I appreciate being able to email or text teachers and get a timely response. I’ve seen teachers email at all hours which, I think, is above and beyond. They are thinking about my child at 10 at night or 5 in the morning! It’s important to me that my children enjoy school and they do. It makes learning more effective and eliminates most of the morning battles. We now have 3 of our children there.

My grandson attended this school for his intermediate school years after I decided to transfer him from a different private school located on the Windward area.. Because this school is small, its intimacy and attention to it's students was outstanding. The staff and administration personnel are caring, nurturing, and personally know each student & their personal needs. Their plans to expand the school grounds and vision to continue to provide compassionate & Christ centered education for their students is exciting & highly anticipated by many. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this school.
