“We chose St Mark for our oldest daughter when she was in kindergarten. We had heard good things about the school. I especially liked the small size (less intimidating for a 5 year old), it’s not too far from home and that they teach Christian values. We have been very happy with all of her teachers thus far (communication, fun and challenging curriculum). I appreciate being able to email or text teachers and get a timely response. I’ve seen teachers email at all hours which, I think, is above and beyond. They are thinking about my child at 10 at night or 5 in the morning! It’s important to me that my children enjoy school and they do. It makes learning more effective and eliminates most of the morning battles. We now have 3 of our children there.”

“My wife Susan and I spent a week in Hawaii in 2005. Myself being a Mount Carmel graduate 1971 Mount Carmel High School 6410 South Dante Avenue Chicago Illinois. We stopped to visit and look around the beautiful church and grounds we ran into the pastor at the time I don't remember his name. I had asked the pastor if he had scapulars he said no they were hard to get. When my wife and I return to Chicago we visited Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Darien Illinois we purchased 250 scapulars and sent them on to Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Hawaii. Before we left the pastor gave me a beautiful painting Jesus Christ face on a leave. I have this framed and on the wall in my living room according to the US Postal Service the scapulars need it to Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Hawaii. I hope all those that received them still wear them today 2022. I have been wearing mine for 55 years.”

“Eli and his team were phenomenal. They were on time and explained the process before the job was done. They also explained the science behind their strategy and cleaning supplies and materials they used . I liked the fact they were friendly even with my husky. They really took a lot of the yellow out of my carpet and was able to dry it also in no time none of these long wait times or having wet carpet which in then causes a weird odor. They deep cleaned it and also cleaned some upholstery which again they took out the stains from the bed and odor. I am definitely using them again and recommending them because its one thing to hire any type of cleaning company but someone that really knows there industry and takes a good look at your carpet and upholstery nd puts a great package and cleaning service together is what you want to hire true Quality .”

“AMAZING!! Waiahole Nursery and Garden Center made all the floral arrangements for my wedding and they truly went above and beyond! From the beginning, Katie, Karen, and Patty were super responsive, organized, and a pleasure to work with. I sent them what I wanted to order and a basic color scheme then let them work their magic. I was beyond happy with how the arrangements looked - they were absolutely gorgeous. The flowers elevated the venue to the next level and I was in love with my bridal bouquet. They delivered everything to the venue and set everything up. They even included a couple of touches that I had not thought to order, like a few flowers on a swing at my venue for example. These are some of the nicest people I have worked with and they do such beautiful work. I'm so lucky I found them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for flowers on Oahu.”

“I’ve had a very positive experience with Key’s Fitness. The training sessions are tailored to my level, but still challenging and fun. Ky shares his knowledge in a way that’s both personable and motivating. With Ky’s functional fitness, I’ve learned to use the whole body, and felt stronger and healthier after just a few sessions. Anyone seeking expert help and positive guidance on their fitness journey would do well to train with him.”

“Quality service, fair pricing, and friendly staff. I take my Honda Civic here for service with confidence that it’s in good hands. Of all the times I’ve been here service manager, Justin Baker, really stood out. He took the time to answer any questions and was very thorough, transparent, and honest. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable, and quality place to service your car I highly recommend Honda Windward. Plus the free car wash with service is an added bonus!”

“Small local store owned by THE sweetest family ever!! We came right at opening time and got to see them prepping food / putting the iconic inflatable man outside. Try the chicken, it’s incredibly tasty. Along with classic convenience store items, they also have Hawaiian specialties like taro chips and locally grown tea. Highly recommend stopping by :) Mahalo!”

“A warm, welcoming, family friendly church where you feel comfortable attending. They have children's church and a lunch after the 10:00 a.m. that everyone is welcome to freely attend. It's a great way to make friends and meet some diverse and wonderful people who are locals to the max.”

“Had a great time on our mid-morning trip to the Kaneohe Sandbar. The boat ride was very smooth and the live musicians enhanced the experience. The donuts and refreshments were a nice addition. At the sandbar itself, there were fun activities such as snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking (within boundaries). All the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I would book this same tour again if we come back to Oahu.”
