“Great customer service, I called the front desk and they were able to help explain my insurance to me and answer all the questions I had. Appreciate their jobs since it was a stressful time for me and insurance calls are normally never fun or helpful.”

“We happened to stop because we saw a line outside the restaurant. Best u-turn I’ve ever made. We ordered the Sweet Lady ice cream and the laulau + beef combo plate. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you it’s the best meal I’ve had recently. The meats, the flavor…everything was perfection. I can’t recommend this place enough.”

“After doing the zipline tour, I decided to eat something, and chose the pork with white rice (+ Mac-salad). It tasted very great and texture of the pork tastes pretty amazing. The menu has a variety of options and included vegetarian food. If you are at the Kualoa Ranch and wanted to eat something after a tour, I recommend this place.”

“People have fallen and died on this hike. It is challenging and very dangerous therefore only experienced hikers should attempt. The trail starts at the same spot as the crouching lion hike but instead of heading towards the crouching lion, continue heading up. Going up is very steep. The path along the ridge drops off to either side and is not for the faint of heart. At the top of the ridge the path becomes very muddy and remains so as you begin your decent. The trail eventually takes you into an old Mormon cemetery and out on to Trout Farm Road.”

“I highly recommend Ann Pearl. I was here recently for rehab after surgery and being in the hospital for a month. I was very weak and definitely needed the rehab. The staff and nurses were outstanding! You can safely send family here or come yourself if needed and know that you will receive the care and therapy that you need to get you to a point where you can go home.”

“I participated in the 200hr YTT at Hawaii Yoga Institute (HYI) this past July (intensive 21-day straight). I wanted to deepen my personal practice and expand my skills so I can begin my journey to teach. It was my first yoga training, so I don’t have an experiential comparison. I enjoyed it immensely! Courtney, Tara & Kilty were the core teachers that rotated leading the class. We had at least 7 other guest teachers that opened our understanding of different aspects of yoga, as well! For me, it unveiled the ‘mystery’ that I had imagined in my own head and taught me the universality and accessibility/application of yoga even though it has been practiced for millennia. We learned the history, philosophy, anatomy/physiology, variety and asana sequencing. It was an intense 21 days, but so worth it for all the things I learned and all of my wonderful classmates that took the journey with me. Thank you, HYI 🧘🏼♀️💕🤙🏻”

“I normally don’t opt for chicken but this place has the best chicken I’ve ever tasted! It’s moist and flavorful and comes with a delicious sauce I wish they sold in a bottle. Even the mac salad (which I don’t usually care for) was good. We also tried the spicy garlic shrimp which was delicious. After 7 days exploring the island, our group of 7 came back on our last day to get another taste of the Huli Huli chicken.”

“We chose St Mark for our oldest daughter when she was in kindergarten. We had heard good things about the school. I especially liked the small size (less intimidating for a 5 year old), it’s not too far from home and that they teach Christian values. We have been very happy with all of her teachers thus far (communication, fun and challenging curriculum). I appreciate being able to email or text teachers and get a timely response. I’ve seen teachers email at all hours which, I think, is above and beyond. They are thinking about my child at 10 at night or 5 in the morning! It’s important to me that my children enjoy school and they do. It makes learning more effective and eliminates most of the morning battles. We now have 3 of our children there.”
