Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. Pies have local flavors only found in Hawaii. All yum! Outdoor seating plentiful. There’s additional shaded seating across the parking lot that is cooler and away from the main area. Staff was efficient.”

“Just got a full scholarship here. Flying out in several days to begin the journey. I actually started writing about a long term rehabilitation program that I wanted to create myself after coming to the conclusion that 30, 60, & 90 day programs do not work. I kept experiencing relapses my whole life, even after squeezing out decent periods of stability and sobriety. I wrote a mini thesis/treatise on the 95%+ failure rate of short term treatment. Habilitat seems to agree with all my key principles. Here I am again, submerged and stuck in the same addiction web I always seem to fall into. I found Habilitat on the internet while browsing programs that held certain features I expected my own imaginary, picture-perfect program to have. Habilitat was the only one I found with any computer-related work. I wanted computer programming, microsoft application training and foreign language to be in my ideal treatment center but Habilitat does have graphic design. Will be returning at some point in the future to update my review based on my experience there.”

“There is so much to explore in this garden. I never realized the variety of plants that can thrive in our local urban environment. I pass this garden everyday and always wondered about it while on the freeway. I finally had the chance to go and it did not disappoint. Yes, some things are not as accessible because they are renovating. There's also some areas that need a little more care. However, access to the garden is free and is largely maintained by volunteers. When I see the volume of work to be done, I am amazed at the amount of time and dedication that is lovingly given to this center. Stop by and take a stroll through the gardens and smell the flowers. It does get hot and some of the areas are not even, so you may want to wear shoes and bring an umbrella. I forgot, but did just fine with my slippers and a piece of paper to shade my head. Just be aware of the visiting hours.”
