Excellent beginner class. Not just learning how to cast properly, but also how to choose the correct equipment for each fishing environment

Recently took the beginners fly fishing class from Michael and wow did I get way more than I expected. He taught us everything from selecting the right rod and reel to how to properly cast a fly rod. Very patient with us newbies and really spent time with us one on one. Highly recommend this guy if you are considering fly fishing. He has everything you need as a student, just bring you willingness to learn.

Mike's "enthusiasm" still shines for Fly fishing after all his years of teaching and guiding. He explains the technology of fishing, but more importantly the "Why's" , which helps you understand more deeply. A terrific day learning the basics and more!
