“Avis came through for me when my family and I were stuck in Idaho on Christmas Eve because our flight was cancelled. We talked to at least 2 other rental car companies without success. Without blinking an eye or needing to call a manager, the friendly Avis agent that day supplied us with a one way van rental to SLC at a reasonable price and we were back on the road within 30 min. After stressing about all the travel changes that morning, it was such a relief to be on the road making our way back home! Thanks Avis!!!”

“I'm not particularly fussy when it comes to my hotel rooms. I just want a clean room to sleep in at night and get ready the next morning. I don't spend a lot of non-sleeping hours at a hotel because I'm out doing the things I came to the area to enjoy. The Rodeway Inn worked well for my purposes. The room was clean, although the hallways and stairs are certainly due a good scrubbing. The ice machine worked well and was convenient, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom had a fan which is sometimes tough to find. Breakfast currently isn't being served due to issues getting items from their suppliers, but adapting has been a mainstay in 2021 hasn't it? If using the airport, which I wasn't on this particular trip, the location is insanely convenient off the interstate as it literally sits next to the airport entrance. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and several options within 5 minutes of driving down Vista. It is a budget motel so the guests that it attracts aren't exactly high end business travelers, but if you are like me and just need somewhere to crash at night and don't need a lot of frills, the Rodeway Inn works well.”

“We arrived at the Boise airport at 10:40pm and went to the Alamo rental counter and found a sign stating to go next door to the Enterprise counter. We were pleasantly surprised when the young lady had our reservation close at hand already. We signed the paperwork and handed the keys and on our way in no time. I used a wildcard rental option thru carrentals.com twice and both times get a better car (actually I got a truck / minivan) than expected. Clean vehicles, fast checkout and return. Upsells attempts are a bit annoying but it is a standard in the industry so nothing new here. And yes, you need a credit card but I found that most car rental companies do not accept debit cards for accidentals”

“Worst day, fixed by amazing Alaska airlines employees. Our day started out waiting in line for US customs in Vancouver airport. My girlfriend and myself got sent to secondary inspection, where we were put in a lineup that took 2 hours and 30 minutes to finally speak with US customs agent. Resulting in us missing our flights, and connector flights. When it started getting close to the time of our boarding time. I mentioned it to one of the agents, he chuckled a bit and said yup we are working hard at getting you guys through. And they would pay for our ticket loss if we missed it and were granted access. (which they didYou’d think with how many border guards there was they would be able to get 6 people through in less than 2.5 hours. But no, they don’t care. They were extremely rude with us as we were very patient and very polite. Making us feel like prisoners. Once they let us through the border guard actually lied when I asked if they will be covering our missed flights, she said they would and to follow her, and one of there agents on the other side of a one way door would help us with it. We got to the other side of the door and it was where all the gates are, with no agents in site. Our flight had already left and no one was at the gate anymore. We found another Alaska airlines gate and talked with the amazing Alaska airlines reps and they gave us the number for “Alaska Airlines in Boice Idaho. “ I called the number expecting to be on hold as I know airlines are very busy. My call was answered almost immediately with the most kind, helpful, and professional representative for any company I’ve ever spoken to. Her name was Susanne Hoffman. With limited flights she did all she could to get us on the immediate next flight to get us off toward our destination. After us telling her why we missed her flight she asked if I could hold a minute while she talked to her superior, the man behind the scenes “Vinnie”. Very quickly they had us booked on the very next flights, and on top of all the great customer service they even waived both of our ticket prices!! Now our tickets originally cost us over $700!! Not only did they waive our ticket prices, but the Alaskan airlines at the gate gave us $24 worth of food vouchers we could use while we waited for our next flight. None of this being their fault or responsibility, they definitely treated the situation amazingly. I’m not someone to write many reviews but in this case I honestly can’t believe how amazing Alaska airlines has treated both my girlfriend and myself. We are both extremely thankful and will definitely be booking again with Alaska airlines. Thank you so much Susanne Hoffman & Vinnie! From the Boice Idaho location! You guys rock!!
