  I suffer from spinal stenosis, sciatic pain and low back pain. I had previously gone to an acupuncturist in So Cal for 10+ years for menopause, low back pain and sciatica. After moving to Idaho I needed to find a new acupuncturists and did a lot of research. I found Dr. Thompson and I liked the fact that she had various ways to treat pain. Dr. Thompson has gone above and beyond to help me feel better. I now go once a month for a tune-up or more often if I over do it. She has helped me to feel better so I can enjoy life! The office is like going to a spa and very relaxing. The staff, Susan and Mercedes are always friendly and helpful! So if you’re in pain, give Dr. Thompson and staff a try and get out and enjoy life again!

  What a relaxing and fulfilling place to work! I get to see firsthand the healing effect acupuncture has on patients as we track their results. I get to see how they just brighten up during their time with us and as their pain diminishes. I can enjoy not having to decide what to wear every day, the dress code being scrubs (which are super comfortable!) and I get to work and talk with wonderful people every day. A small team that is great at communicating with each other and noticing each others' needs, it makes even the more stressful days seem very doable. Dr. Kimberly is an amazing person to work for as she knows the workings of her clinic down to the letter, and she understands the roles of her employees, knows when breaks are needed and when to congratulate ourselves for a day well spent. She is always focusing energy toward improving the work environment for both her patients and employees. It is so enjoyable to see the amazing results of her work and I'm happy to say I've learned a lot during my time here.

  "Everything is Figureoutable"... Ask Dr. Kimberly about that! And be open to the idea that pain usually masks and takes away the positive energy our body tries to promote. In turn, those negative energy channels make our daily journey so very draining. My journey was motivated by the desire for improved quality of Life... and began the moment I entered the door of Dr. Kimberly's clinic, back in November 2021.
  I'd had some previous acupuncture therapy before, and knew that the best outcome needed to be with a long-term plan of care. And this IS the foundation for Dr. Kimberly's "plan" - CARING! She's an attentive listener and very skilled practitioner, and by combining several modalities in addition to traditional acupuncture, my results have truly become an outstanding Quality of Life!
  Chronic pain had been overwhelming to the point I couldn't really figure out where to begin describe what hurt the most... turns out I didn't really need to be specific! Her assessment at each treatment discovered, and determined many things I couldn't put into words. One of the most amazing things about Meridian Family Accupuncture is that I didn't feel LIKE family, I AM family... Compassion, kindness, positivity and even humor are part of what I'd like to call supportive care - it's what's missing in our World - however it's not missing with Dr. Kimberly or her delightful, efficient staff.
  It's absolutely been my pleasure to have met and been cared about (and for!) by Dr. Kimberly, Courtney, Susan and Emmy... my journey towards better living would not be complete without them!

  I started my acupuncture treatments on my feet because I had lost much of the feeling in both feet. It made it rather dangerous to drive, as I couldn't feel my foot on the gas pedal. It also effected my balance. The treatments began three times a week, gradually reduced to twice a week, once a week, and I am now at once every two weeks. The feeling has nearly all returned, and I am so pleased with the results. All of the gals who work with Doctor Kimberley are First Rate in kindness and compassion, as well as very professional.   I never realized how helpful acupuncture would be for my specific health issues as well as my overall health. Everybody there is amazing! I love the energy, the attitude, and the results. They take time to make sure I’m comfortable and I understand each treatment. I never thought I would look forward to appointments that involved needles but it really has been life-changing. And an added bonus you’re gonna take the most epic nap during your treatment and you’re gonna wake up feeling refreshed and energized. 😀
