Lucky Peak State Park Spring Shores Unit is a 208-acre unit with a full service marina (298 rentable boat slips). It is located at the upper end of Lucky Peak Reservoir. The marina offers long-term moorage, fuel, marina supplies, restaurant, a convenience store, picnic area, swim beach and recreation equipment rentals.
The large parking lots provide access to two boat ramps with parking for cars and trailers. The marina is the best place to enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, bird watching etc.
It is only 25 minutes away from Boise. The marina is easily accessible from the parking area. I used to go there with my friends. The calm beautiful scenery here is just mesmerizing. If you are in Boise, It is a must place to visit.
Water level was down about 20' or so. Lot of beach to choose from.
Best place to have water fun and close to home .
As long as you can catch the water before the entire town of Boise shows up this is a great marina. We love the night skis/swims.
Took a drive in early spring just to get out of town for a bit and ended up at Lucky Peak. Stopped at the marina for a walk and to take a closer look. Of coarse water level is way down in anticipation of the coming snow runoff. It was still pretty neat to see. Great facilities for boat dockage and summer fun time. Beautiful scenery and there are some great hiking paths.
