Very unique place. Hot 🔥 good coffee.
Very cool place, definitely recommended to visit! It's definitely strange and inspired by buildings like the Winchester House. Everything is odd and thrown around haphazardly like an intentional mess. Absolutely worth checking out. The only thing I wish is that they gave you access to more of the house, or at least did something with more of it. Right now you can only access a small part of the interior where there are random items and antiques for sale, and then a coffee bar in another room.
I love stopping in at different antique and thrift stores. This one is in a very old and drafty building, but it didn’t matter. You can tell the very friendly owner have been working hard to clean and organize the store as well as putting in juice/coffee bar. I love to find secret treasures to decorate my home & myself, and to find things for gifting to others that I think they would enjoy. I design and make jewelry, so I appreciate the talents of other jewelry makers. I found 3 pieces that I loved, and considered taking a photo of them to make at sometime for myself and possibly to create some similar ones to sell or gift to others, but because the prices were so fair, I chose to purchase them. Now I can wear these today, and still make more later if I wish. I will definitely come back to see how much the store changes as time goes by and possibly make more purchases when I go through Idaho City again someday! Thank you for the opportunity to meet you and the experience of browsing through your store!

The store is as old as the hills. The owners are working hard to fix it up and organize and adding a coffee bar! It's quite an adventure, and a look into the past, I can't wait to see what this iconic business is able to become.
Who knows what you’ll find amid this trove of tchotchkes. It actually feels like the domestic history of the area. People from places not near here have stepped through and so should you.
