“Dave is a super nice guy and very good at what he does. I purchased a new plow and needed help with installing it. Dave gladly accepted the challenge and got it mounted and working on my Dodge truck. And he did it quickly. AND he called me on a Sunday to let me know it was ready. I was surprised he was working on a Sunday and happy to pick up my truck earlier than expected. The pricing was very fair as well. I look forward to working with Dave on my next project.........ramps for my UTV.”

“We had our first stay here as they hosted out Cowboy Poetry entertainers, it is amazing. Love the decor in the cabins. The claw foot bathtub was awesome to soak in, besides they have hot tubs to enjoy if you prefer that. They did a pig roast for us and I don't think I have ever had better!”

“I'd leave a 1 start rating - to try to discourage more people from attending, BUT IT WOULD BE A HUGE LIE! My Family and I loved it!”

“Friendly, quirky, and mischievous. This antique store turned coffee shop has it all. Drink your cup of joe and peruse through the woodsy interior that features a vintage clothing room, home library, and creepy doll annex, all while being told ghost stories by the barista 👻👻.”

“One of my favorite stores ever and a must-visit for Idaho City!! It's on Main Street just around the corner from the Walulla Coffee Shop. 🥇Such a wide assortment of fun stuff, 🎁 great gifts, beautiful jewelry I love, gemstones, decorative mountain - themed items, cool Christmas ornaments, funny vintage-type tin signs, shirts, sweatshirts, fox tails, aprons, kitchen towels and so much more... I have a bracelet, ring, earrings, wall signs and huckleberry jam purchased there. They have a free "Idaho City Jail" photo booth with various cowboy hats as props. 🤩 Super nice owners that work there. No bathroom because they have no water since a fire a few years back, but it's a short walk to the public restrooms at the Visitors Center down the road that are always open.”

“Managers very accommodating and helpful as well as very pleasant. I came up to go Elk Hunting and needed a place to stay for a few nights. The room was perfect….clean and comfortable. It snowed heavily and it was very cold….a warm shower, a warm room and a comfortable bed couldn’t be better. The Idaho City Hotel is a wonderful 100 year old hotel in a community with an amazing history. The managers Tara and Rob provide the perfect atmosphere when visiting this historic community. Check in and stay awhile, you won’t regret it. Tom”

“This cabin is so awesome! We really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely look forward to returning for another visit. The pond is full of fish, but they were too, so our granddaughter learned to cast and caught a little brook trout.”

“We loved our dining experience inside with pleasant music, ponderosa pine tables, beautiful artwork. Lisa was friendly, attentive and we enjoyed great conversation. We loved the steak, chicken quesadilla and duck sausage. For dessert we enjoyed chocolate mouse cake and tapioca pudding topped with fruit. Definitely worth the trip to Idaho City where we enjoyed the afternoon”

“I love stopping in at different antique and thrift stores. This one is in a very old and drafty building, but it didn’t matter. You can tell the very friendly owner have been working hard to clean and organize the store as well as putting in juice/coffee bar. I love to find secret treasures to decorate my home & myself, and to find things for gifting to others that I think they would enjoy. I design and make jewelry, so I appreciate the talents of other jewelry makers. I found 3 pieces that I loved, and considered taking a photo of them to make at sometime for myself and possibly to create some similar ones to sell or gift to others, but because the prices were so fair, I chose to purchase them. Now I can wear these today, and still make more later if I wish. I will definitely come back to see how much the store changes as time goes by and possibly make more purchases when I go through Idaho City again someday! Thank you for the opportunity to meet you and the experience of browsing through your store! ~Sonja”

“We really love this little campground along Hwy 21 above Idaho City. Mores Creek runs alongside the campground and has pools you can sit in to cool down on a hot summer day. Plenty of shade at most sites and brush/trees between sites allows a lot of privacy. Reservations are easy online.”

“My wife and I drove up to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and to say the least it was wonderful, it was very inviting as soon as you walk in the door the staff and service were top notch. Food and drinks are priced great didn’t feel like I broke the bank to have a nice Time. Everything from the front door to the pool area were very clean and well taken care of. We will be returning many more times.”

“Just had a family reunion gathering up there today. A nice camp ground, did not see a single mosquito. Some flies, but not bad. There are bathrooms, and technically running water, but you have to pump it, it's actually pretty cool. The water is cold and tastes pretty good. There is a small area that kids can play in the creek, but no serious swimming or fishing, at least not when we were there 4th of July weekend.”
