Dr Shepherd come across caring, straight forward and professional.
During visits with him you can see he listens well, remembers a fair amount of details with the patient and also provides information on the type of injury you have compared to normal circumstances.
My one critique is I think he is tries to find a balance between recovery and cost. That can be best for the employer, not necessarily the employee. But I don't know if that is a statement about the industry, hospital policy or care. Overall, it feels like my recovery is his primary concern.

Dr. Shepherd did a good job. He was easy to talk with and friendly. So was the nurse who took my vitals before I saw Dr. Shepherd. The lady who set up my next appointment was a little rude. She was standoffish, judgmental, and acted like it was my fault I didn't know how things work in their office. She really needs to work on how she relates to people. Most of the patients she talks to are suffering and don't need to be treated like that. It would also be really helpful if the suite number was posted somewhere visible. I had a little trouble finding the office.
