“Very happy with our experience here! Lessons seem expensive but you won't get the one-on-one attention you get with Shirley in a class full of little swimmers at a public pool. Lessons take place in a heated pool at their home, by pre-scheduled appointment only. There is a lot of comfortable outdoor furniture and tables to make the spectators comfortable. My toddler was fairly unimpressed being handed off to someone he'd never met and cried a bit the first few lessons, but Shirley handled it like a pro and now he loves coming back. A life-saving skill such as swimming is worth the investment and Shirley makes it easier to accomplish. No more waiting at the city pool for 4 hours because you can't get all of the kids into the same time slot. Worth the drive & the cost! Thanks Shirley!!”

When I pick my child up they always let me know what happened that day etc. The place is newer and smaller so your child doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.”

“We love Smart Start Academy for so many reasons but mostly because Becky and her amazing team create a fun and safe place for kids to learn and grow. We feel extremely blessed to have this school right in our hometown and even more thankful to have a sense of normalcy for our son starting preschool amidst a challenging year. Becky and her staff keep the curriculum fun and family centered with activities outside of the classroom as well as lots of hands-on activities and crafts.
