“I have gone with family multiple times over the years and always enjoy it! The new owners are excited about the museum and sharing it! Very good people and an amazing collection. I especially love the pieces and history from Silver City and DeLamar. They have a beautiful park where you can picnic and hang out during or after your tour. Allow enough time or come back again and again!”

“Absolutely loved this museum! Great place to visit for everyone! Packed full of artifacts from different periods of this countries wars! Especially cool that a lot of the artifacts are centered around Idaho and the men and women who served our nation who hailed from Idaho. Especially loved the tanks and planes they have for viewing. “Our group called ahead and requested a guided tour and it was WONDERFUL! Our guide loves this area and knows the Eagle history thoroughly. We learned about Eagle Island State Park and this historic honor farm there, about the early days of beauty shop "torture" devices and one room schoolhouses. If you're interested in early history of Eagle, you will love the opportunity to view these exhibits and more. You can self-guide tour or call ahead. Donations accepted.”

Boise Art Museum

Address: 670 Julia Davis Dr, Boise, ID 83702, USA

“This art museum is absolutely worth it for the price - and you might even learn something! It’s a small museum, I spent maybe 45 minutes there. I loved their exhibit covering the Great Basin, especially the photographs. They have a large collection of Native American arts - all donated from a couple that collected it. They do not allow backpacks, but they do have free lockers (maybe 12?) for you to use. If it’s busy, you may need to plan ahead. You have to reserve your tickets (online) at least two hours in advance due to covid. When I checked in, they had a sign that kept track of how many people were in the building. There were only a handful of other people while I was there. They do have a hands-on kids art area, but it is currently empty due to covid.”
