“It's a different experience here than what most people are used to for a massage. For the foot you are in a large room with other people, your eyes covered with a cloth and while your feet are soaking you get a little body and face massage. The only English words I hear is asking how the pressure is. For the body massage at one point the masseuse leaves and brings in hot towels. I, personally, love this place and it is my go-to for massage. Venus and York are super, but I've only ever had great experience with all the masseuses. The tea at the end is delicious! I recommend this place highly, just be prepared for a different experience!”

“I recently visited Michelle at Ashamenta to get some healing energy. I had an infected ear piercing that I was told needed antibiotics. I’m trying to build my gut health, so I really wanted to give my body the chance to heal itself. Michelle assessed my situation and performed a combination of Reiki and Prana with aromatherapy. I was amazed to find that the pain had eased considerably through the session! She sent me home with a custom tea to soak my ear in. It took two days for the swelling to go down, and another day for the piercing to stop draining, but I’m very happy with my results! “So relaxing! The room floors are covered in pink Himalayan salt, sort of like sand, but better. They have zero gravity reclining chairs, serene lighting, and beach wave sounds in the background. It really makes you feel like you're at the beach. The room filters in air purified with pink salt, so by the time you leave your skin is as soft as a baby's bottom. It felt like being at a spa. We booked the 4-person room for 45 minutes but when our time was up it felt like only 10 had passed. It went by so fast! My friends and I had a great time.”
