By the SECOND class, her face was not only IN the water, but she was voluntarily putting her face in the water to practice. Our apartment has a pool that we visit VERY regularly, and I have never been able to get my daughter to do this. Michelle does a wonderful job with all the kids. My daughter has been to lessons at the Y, and they were not nearly as good at getting my daughter outside of her safety zone. She just engenders trust with the kids. If you want your child to learn how to swim, or swim better, you will never go wrong.”

“The angelic staff at Ascent Behavioral Health truly saved my life, and I am as stubborn and sad as they come. I came in a broken woman, drowning in sorrow and booze. I had tried other meetings, tried cold turkey, I had been scared straight, up, down, left, and right, and I was essentially at a point where I was either going to end my life (accidentally or on purpose) or make some serious f-ing changes. I showed up ashamed and shattered. I could hardly look anyone in the eye, and it was hard not to cry. But they took me in and assessed me with love and care and clinical precision. Their groups were phenomenal, and full of folks just like me --- a little broken, but looking to mend. And in talking to your peers you realize, "My God, these people are really special, just in need of a boost"...which eventually leads you to see the same truth within yourself. And in those groups you will find the most compassionate and skilled counselors. They will give you the tools to climb out of that hole you've dug yourself into, and then hand you ones to build a foundation for a rock solid temple. Because hey, you, you there reading this? You're worth it and they don't see your mistakes, they see the potential within you. If you're looking for a namby-pamby kumbaya session devoid of substance, then there are other behavioral health services that will recite platitudes and give you the same stuff you've had before. But these guys care about giving you a fighting chance in that wide, scary world out there that broke us in the first place. Oh my gosh, I haven't even gone over how your case manager will hook your butt up with any service and jumpstart you need. They will help you with jobs, education, getting set up with assistance programs....the only thing they can't do is make Idris Elba appear on your doorstep with a dozen roses (sadly, I've tried). Take the chance. Trust this internet stranger. I once was lost, and now I'm found...”

“My girlfriend and I live in a smaller apartment and were struggling to find a sectional that fit our needs. After going to furniture store after furniture store, we happened upon Wallaroo’s. We found the perfect sectional! Small enough to fit our apartment AND had built in storage with a hide-away bed. Jason was awesome at helping us out and forewarned that they were out of stock, but they should have it in the store around late June, early July. Our experience up until this point was great…however, communication became an issue. Late June rolled around and we didn’t get an update on the status of our order. Early July rolled around…nothing. So we called and were told it would be in within a week and we’d hear from someone to schedule delivery. A week later, nothing. We called again and were told we were looking at mid July. There was a lot of miscommunication and frustration. We finally got our couch today…almost 6 weeks after ordering it and we are ecstatic. It is such a high quality sectional and we’re pleased with the purchase. Even though we did get apologies for the miscommunication issues, I still recommend that Wallaroo finds some way to keep track of customers and keep them in the loop with what is happening with their order versus having them call multiple times. That said, I’d purchase furniture from them again. Great quality for reasonable prices!”
