Kinder's Restaurant

A Mississippi landmark! Can't wait to see the new Kinders and have some Clam Chowder with my friends and family!

One of a kind, it's closed but me and my baby have been camping out waiting for it to open. Day 974 today! We love you Kinders!

Kinders is a great restaurant but at this time: 8/2021, it is closed for rebuild. I hope it reopens soon!

Friendly, familiar faces... Top notch menu, and memorable mixed drinks make Kinder's an undisputed crowd favorite. Be sure to look around at the historical photos of Kinder's and it's family around the interior to really get a sense of love and commitment for this hidden gem. Don't forget to stop by during peach season for daiquiris made with local grown fresh peaches!

Half of the excitement when you bring your family is the river especially if you come from St. Louis and go across the ferry. The food to me was reasonable and what you would expect from a small country restaurant but my 90+ year old Mother in law thought it was the greatest. She could get chicken livers and gizzards as an appetizer and then whatever she wanted. It is not a flamboyant upscale so called sophisticated restaurant, (not that I would want to go to one anyway), but what I would call down home cooking. The food was fine, the place was clean, and the people were courteous and we will go back shortly. During the summer months when it is probably pretty lively, parking might be tight.
