“Words can't describe the beauty of this church. I grew up with Holy Trinity being my families place of worship. My parents and grandparents worshipped at the original Holy Trinity where UIC is located at now. I remember as a young boy attending Socrates School at the make shift trailers as the school on Diversey Avenue was being built.. I was blessed to have been an alter boy along with my brother. This church was the center of the Greek immigrant community. Father Kaloudis was a wonderful priest and even a better man who devouted his life to this church. During the 1970s Holy Trinity along with St. Demetrius were the two largest Greek Orthodox Churches but as Greek immigrants moved to the suburbs and the influx of Greek immigrants trickled to nothing the attendance and thus the money began to decline. I am saddened to see our beloved church that played such a huge part in many Greek families life has been sold and services will soon end at this wonderful location .. Unfortunately I do not have a million dollars because if I did I would pay the outstanding debt and keep our church. I have nothing but wonderful memories of this splendid church. She played such an important part not only in life but countless others and I am thankful and blessed that she was a part of my life. She will truly be missed.”

“Wonderful place. I have never felt so welcomed before, the worship team is great and so is the Word! Their digital system and computer lyrics are great also. If you’re in Chicago visiting or looking for a place to call home- THIS IS THE PLACE. ???????? ☝????”
