AAAC is Acting As A Craft that was the perfect introduction to the school and training. My teachers were very helpful in preparing me to work in my career. Most especially I enjoyed the opportunity to work in a real play as a stage manager and learn to explore that aspect of acting as a craft. I took classes at another well known school that was good but paying for parking every class was no incentive to stay there. Chicago Actor Studio offers free parking for all students! “This place makes my heart happy! We have been at nook for almost a year now. I first tried it out via ‘hopping in’ when I went back to work. Aryan took to the teacher that same day! At that point my schedule was not straight forward so we had him at a different daycare. After a few months I realized that he wasn’t happy there and I could see why. The director changed, the staff wasn’t happy and their stress affected the kids. I changed over to nook right when Aryan was 3. We noticed a difference in him instantly. The teachers are awesome. You can tell that they are happy to be at work. I’m in awe as to how well they manage a group of 3-5 year olds. They enrich these kids. They’re creative. Their lesson plans are excellent. Ms. Pavlina and Ms. Eboni truly shine in their roles! What’s important when you look for a daycare? I babysat all the way up until I had my son. You want someone who genuinely loves being around kids. People who are organized, on time and make the trying job of taking care of kids look easy. And they do that cause it comes from the heart. And from a parents perspective they’re able to do that because they have an excellent director, Ms Stephanie. She is hands on. She is in daycare with the kids and in the preschool. She’ll take the time to address your needs via email and person. A great team makes for an awesome environment for your little one. This has been a wonderful experience for us!”
