I just wanted to say the store did a great job trying to ensure the store was following CDC guidelines with only having 4 customers in the lobby and like 10+ people needing to stand outside. I could visibly see the two young men working the registers today (especially the one with the short dreads) were doing to their best to keep cool, keep firm with guidelines, and get as many people out of the store as quick as possible. “Love coming to Lou's every time we're back in town. Grew up on Deep Dish and other places try to imitate them in other states, but it's clearly not the same. Generous portion sizes and flavors. Generally takes around 30-45min to prepare this marvelous creation. One thing we found out was that you can pre-order your pizza before you go in to eat IN the restaurant so that you don't have to wait too long! GAME. CHANGER. Great how they lay out the tray stand next to the tables in preparation of the pizza arriving. The anticipation builds as you wait. Nothing like being walled in by pizza at the tables. It's a dream come true. Appetizers are fun as well. Total hit for the kids. Service is so friendly especially with children. Great family atmosphere!”

For the uninitiated there is something special about the moment you step foot in the door of an Oberweis store! You smell the waffle cones and the various ice cream flavors, it is beyond intoxicating!! I have always enjoyed a few staple items like a Strawberry Malt or a Hot Fudge Sundae and as you sit down and enjoy it with your family the smells overwhelm you with the desire to take more home with you, which I always do!! The Blueberry Pie ice cream is awesome!!!! I recommend this place as highly as possible!!! I love Oberweis!!!!”
