“Amazing park. Perfectly planned and includes the most amenities that I have seen offered in a park. The most beautiful time to come here is in the fall where the falling leaves make it a perfect setting.”

“A gem in Elgin. The cemetery is very beautiful (includes a Civil War Memorial). The trails aren't the widest, most well-maintained trails (at least in the winter!) so I wouldn't go right after a rain or snow or to run, but it all adds to the charm of this little tucked-away piece of nature. Nice views from the hilltop of a small prairie.”

“Neat little park, though there are always an inordinate number of people loitering in the parking lot. I've taken my dog here a few times to hike the trails (some mowed grass, some peat gravel). There isn't too much in the way of sights, but it is a nice secluded area to enjoy nature.”

“A beautiful, peaceful, little spot to go and commune with God (or nature). You can bring your best friend - dogs allow (your honey and Mini MEs are allowed too. Take a nature walk/bike ride (for rent), a family picnic or just relax. Enjoy, while you stay; please leave it as clean as you found it when you leave! ENJOY!”
