“Wow. I cannot speak in glowing enough terms of the treatment my husband, my kitty, and I received at Midwest. No one likes to need to visit the vet ER, but these people know their stuff and deliver care with professionalism and compassion. From our very first call to inquire as to whether an ER trip was even necessary, the staff (from reception, to vet tech, to vet) were warm, generous with their time and explanations, considerate of financial cost, and empathetic. We walked in at midnight on a freezing dark Saturday and instantly felt supported and like things were going to get better. During our wait (vet was in surgery which we were notified of in advance of our making the trip in), we were told every step that was being taken to help our little kitty, and given regular updates about time and progress. While we were there, we witnessed the patient coordinator talking people through all manner of emergencies, from an egg-bound chicken to a poor dog hit by a car. Her breadth of knowledge was matched only by her genuine care and concern. The vet tech and vet were also amazing. The vet tech has something like 20 years experience and it shows. They teamed up to diagnose and treat our cat quickly and expertly. I am so thankful for this ER hospital. If you are reading this during an emergency, I recommend you call Midwest first. You can trusty them and they will take great care of you.”
