(December 28, 2018, 2:38 pm)Great walking/biking path. I almost always see a few deer when I walk here. Some areas of the path bring you to views of the river, others take you by a meadow, and others you are walking tree lined spots. I have been there during different times of day and it's always been lovely.

(September 20, 2018, 9:23 pm)Great scenery plenty of parking. Bring bug spray! Recommend when leaving use the North exit. Caldwell side is difficult to get out if the area is full.
(August 18, 2018, 4:30 pm)Very nice park! Big park with lots of area for families to have a good time. Very well maintained with bathroom facilities available. Also there are pavilions you can rent for the day through the Cook County Forest Preserve.
(July 26, 2018, 7:20 am)There are many groves with shelters. Plenty of restrooms are available too. Groves get booked really fast so they need to be reserved almost a year in advance. There is a bike route through some of the groves. Very popular.
