In the end, the quote was very accurate in predicting final costs. When picking finishes with the owner, he was very good at letting me know when I was looking at things which would increase expenses, and he was very helpful and helping me select finishes that would stay in budget but honor the design intent. He had a very good eye for aesthetics. Even more important, the whole team was very detail focused. Everything had to be just so. Any time I noticed something slightly off, they were right there to fix it. They whole team was very respectful of our space, sealing off areas not being worked on. The owner told me that they usually only take on two projects at a time so that they can give appropriate focus to each project and minimize delays. I was extremely pleased with the outcome.
