“I woke up in the morning ready to go to work but my big toe decided otherwise. I was in some of the worst pain I have ever felt. A simple task like walking or putting on a dress sock was excruciating. I called and the receptionist said she would check my insurance and see what she could do. They were able to fit me in within ten minutes of my call due to the severity of my pain. Upon arrival the wait was minimal at best just standard papaerwork. The doctor saw me and took a look and informed me his opinion was gout. He then did x-rays in office and even showed me where the problems were. To me as a tech guy that was cool. He then gave me the option of just meds or meds plus cortisone. I honestly asked him how bad the shot would hurt and he replied "It wont hurt me at all" as sacrcastic as it was it put me at ease to do it. FYI it hurts alot. I was sent to Alexian for a uric acid test so we will so we will see what that turns up. On a side note I called his office after the blood work and told them the numbing agent wore off and he actually took time to call me back later in the day. If he was a primary physician I would be set. All I can say is if you have a foot issue this is the place to go to. Awesome doctor and a great staff.”
