This was my first tooth extraction in my life (still have all of my wisdom teeth) - I quickly realized I was freaked out over nothing. The (local) anesthesia & extraction took less than 10 minutes together, I didn't even feel the extraction, and I had a completely uneventful and pain-free recovery (without the use of pain meds).
