“Pet shops usually have good people working in them, but Bentley’s staff is exceptionally good. They care about animals and it shows. It makes sense, considering they sell the absolute best pet food I can find in the west suburbs of Chicago. The wife and I own two cats, and we exclusively feed them food from Bentley’s. We started out with the Orijen brand, but after a few changes to the Orijen food, and our cats sudden refusal to eat it, we moved on to the Fromm brand, which is apparently associated with Bentley’s. Our cats love this food, their coats look great, and they’re perfectly healthy, so we’re happy. They have a lot of great brands to choose from, all a step high above what other pet stores (chains) sell. I recommend Bentley’s to anyone looking to feed their pets the best, even if it costs a bit more. The price is worth it.”

“This church is 1 of 5 (soon to be 6) Orchard campuses, whose senior pastor is Pastor Colin Smith. I attend this location on a weekly basis and am a member! Some overview: - parking is on the street and there's a lot in back. - the church body is smaller (about 150-180 between two services) and the worship more low key (if you're used to a giant professional band) but nice. - the first thing I remember when I began coming here was the welcoming spirit of the members, which is also reflected in the church leadership. - various ministries to look into (both to get plugged into and to serve in) such as Awana, Life groups, prison ministry, community service groups, etc. - the preaching= phenomenal. I discovered Pastor Colin through his radio program (Unlocking the Bible on 90.1fm Moody radio at 9am Mon.-Fri.) and he just brings the bible to life in such a clear and humble way. But we also have our campus pastor, Pastor Brad Wetherell, and he too is such a wonderful and passionate teacher. If you are desiring to grow in your knowledge and love for the Lord and his Word, people, and mission, this is a great place to come.”

“Always love to stumble upon a 60 year institution. November 2019 will be their 60th anniversary, with the current family operating it for 54 years. Don't worry there's another generation poised to take the helm. Their German Dutch Apple Baked Pancake was featured on Chicago's Best TV. I was tempted to try it, but with it being my first visit and biscuits and gravy on special, I fell prey. I wasn't disappointed! Large platter of comfort food is hard to pass up. Old school charm and there's even a gift shop. Booths can be tricky to get out of.”
