“A friend and I recently went to a tiling class here because we both want to install a backsplash in our kitchens. Pete was the instructor and I have to say he made the experience fun AND educational! He had a great sense of humor and he was very good about going step by step and clearly showing us exactly what to do with whatever type of tile we decided to use. He had us participate as well, cutting and placing the tile. He showed us which tools to use and how to obtain them and emphasized how cleaning as you go was the most important part! We really enjoyed this class and would definitely recommend others taking it. I feel like I can go home and tile the backsplash with ease. Even better, Pete told us if we have questions as we go along, we can send an email and he can call us directly to help us through any issues we may be having. It was a pleasure watching him work and hearing his tiling stories. I almost want to take the class again just to hang with Pete! The store itself was beautiful and had an incredible variety of tile to choose from. Jonathan was a great help when I was trying to determine which tile would be best for my style of kitchen. “My wife and I are sadly moving out as we purchased a home, but loved our time here. You'll be hard pressed to find this combination of value, quietness, and convenience anywhere in the area. These are straight up condos rented as apartments - so you get way more space for a great price. The units themselves are quiet; you rarely, if ever, heard the neighbors. We also loved the garage parking. Not having to get snow off our cars in the winter was awesome, so definitely worth the money to get a spot down there. Let's also not forget that the building is honestly 30 seconds from the on-ramp to 355 and 290, so the convenience factor whenever you needed to get anywhere out of the area was incredible. We will miss this place dearly and the dynamic duo that run the building have been some of the best we've ever had in an apartment!”
