I wanted to share how my life got saved thanks to Deepa. I have been sick with stomach, digestion, acid reflux and heartburn related problems from Oct-2020. On top of that in nov-2020 I found out that my vita B12 levels dropped by a big number too. My digestion related issues were so bad that for two months i hardly could eat anything, all i could eat was some khichdi(rice with little split moong daal) and green beans, i could not eat any lentils, fruits or vegetables for 2.5 months, i lost 20 pounds but of course not healthy weight loss. I lost a ton of energy and was getting very tired. I have a toddler and i did not even have any energy to play with her as well. I saw doctors and started on heartburn and acid reflux medication but was not helping me. Then I started working with Deepa starting Jan 2021.
Deepa made me write a journal covering everything i eat and how i feel every single day for a month. Every day she would review my entries and provide me her comments/feedback. In first week itself, with her tips, i started eating boiled vegetables like spinach, sweet potato, carrots, beets, , apples, squash.of course my body rejected it on day1 but deepa did not let me quit. She was in touch with me for every meal and after not giving up for some time, i started eating 5-6 boiled vegetables on a day. This change gave me energy i lost last year. I started making mung and chana sprouts and that changed how i feel as i could not digest any lentils or beans from oct2020. Before millet and barley gave me stomachache, but from last 3 months i have been eating pancakes made of milet, barley and ragi flour. Once my stomach started getting better with digestion, we also introduced PMU probiotics, they have helped me greatly with digestion and improved my metabolism. In summary, in last three months ever since i started working with Deepa, i am able to eat extremely nutritional food, which i could not digest last year. I am so very grateful and fortunate that i have her to guide me in this unexpected situation with my health.
Secondly, I have been taking Power me up(PMU) multivitamin, it has really good vitamin B compositions. I am low in vita B and taking PMU multivitamin has helped me tremendously. I am so thankful that we have such powerful multivitamin that we can trust for our bodies.
Again, from bottom of my heart, I am so thankful to Deepa for being so patient with me, making me patient, making me understand my body and mind, making me having faith in my body, making me realize the importance of gut health, power of fruits and vegetables, power of improved digestion. As I have been working so closely with her in the last three months, asking at least 10 questions a day, Deepa replies to me within minutes , sometimes within seconds, even on weekends. If i did not have her, i can't even imagine how i would have survived with digestion issues and low vitamin b12 issues. Thank you Deepa so very much 🙏 God bless you.

Dr. Deepa Deshmukh has helped me to change to a plant based diet. Her goal is truly to heal with food. She knows so much about what our bodies need. I have been pre-diabetic for years and in March was diagnosed with diabetes. My A1C has now been lowered to 6.2. I also have had help with medicine ozempic and metformin but have had side affects of constipation. With the diet change to plant base I have benefited the most. I love all her educational podcasts and guests she has on to help. I think she follows up with questions and truly realizes every one is different but we are all on a similar journey and with theses tweaks and knowledge are able to see results and goals! Thankful for all I have learned from her.

I have been seeing Deepa for 3 years and I was at a very sick time in my life with my health. Deepa has turned my life around to where I am off 3/4 of my MANY prescriptions. My new way of eating has benefitted me in many ways-who knew eating healthy tasted so good!! I would recommend everyone that I know to her...she KNOWS her information and she taught me and I teach others of what I walk away with every appt. that I have with her. She deserves more than 10 stars!!

I met Deepa Deshmuk in August 2013 to establish a Public Relation strategy between TOLERANT FOODS and her health practice. During our initial phone interview I knew in an instant that she was genuine, the real thing. I have worked in the food and health sector all my life and quickly realized that Ms. Deshmuk was more than a Nutritionist, she was a leader in the space that was yet to be identified. From that moment on I needed to learn more about who this talented, forward thinker was and the rest is history. LensCulinaris was born, an innovative legume based think tank that will change the way mankind thinks about bean and lentils for years to come.

As a nutrition specialist, I highly recommend Deepa for any health issues you may be suffering from. Deepa starts with the basics and works her way through the endless possibilities you may be facing, she is not a witch doctor but simply someone that applies common sense to everyday problems.
