“This school's aim is to teach discipline and self defense, not to train your child to be in the UFC. I was enrolled here during high school and my time here was incredibly influential. I was taught humility, respect, and self control and would not be successful in my school/work life without the lessons I have learned here. Top top it off I was in the best shape of my life while enrolled as the classes are taken as seriously as you make it, each child learns at their own pace is all. To refute another review, the "weird stances" are to teach proper balance and control. A green belt is very early on in the progression, a perfect roundhouse kick is not expected for even the most experienced black belts. Mastery takes years, and the student in question is a child. “I had braces 40 years ago, and I have been to the dentist many times since then. It wasn't until I went to New Avenue Dental for quality dental care, that I learned the yellow stains on my teeth were actually bonding cement that had never been properly removed all those years ago! That alone is worth 5 stars! Everyone continued to impress me with the quality of care and professionalism. I have since had old filings replaced and old crowns that showed metal at the gum line replaced as well. I have never been so happy with my smile, or so at ease going to the dentist! I will have everything from cleanings to implants (if need be) done at New Avenue Dental. They are that good! Don't forget to talk to them about insurance or discount options!”

“This place is nice. Big pool area for families, the lazy river is a good size and I absolutely love the adults only pool a laps area. I wish that whole pool was roped off for adults and laps though. There are so many kids it'd be nice to have an area away for families without children and older folks. The lazy river is relaxing until the kids use it as a racetrack/ bumper boats. The best part of the day was when they gave all pool areas to the adults for 15 minutes. Some lifeguards are better than others, but they were all at the minimum " adequate. " we were there for about 4 hours. I used the restroom twice and both times there were no lines and no one there. The park was PACKED. Do with that what you will. There are lots of lounge chairs throughout the park, and lots of grassy areas for laying out and relaxing. They need signage directing you on how to exit the park. We had to ask for help to figure it out. I'd definitely go back. I was a pretty good day in the sun.”
