“Willowbrook is a great place to go at any age! It is so beautiful as well as educational. I love walking around and get some sun and exercise there! So many different paths to walk around and so much nature to see. They have many informational signs as well! You can also bring injured animals here to get rehabilitated. It truly is a great place for all ages. I’ve gone to Willowbrook all my life and no matter the age there was always so much fun to be had! Willowbrook is free but they do have a donation box I always put some cash into. Great parking also!”

Park Health

“This place is in a beautiful forest and it's peaceful and green. It made me think about the interface between wildlife and humans and how treacherous our roads and vehicles and pets are for these animals. This place is obviously serious about helping the animals that are victims of accidents and it was cool to see that they have an emergency room. And looking into the eyes of owls, hawks, and bobcats is always an awe inspiring experience. Loved it”

Prairie Path Park

Address: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, USA

“The park itself is nice. It's shaded by trees and a great place to pull over for a rest while on the prairie path. There's an outdoor ping pong table, benches, gazebo, and some green space in this park. It's also adjacent to the free bike repair station in Glen Ellyn, also on the prairie path. Watch out for homeless people as they like to hang out or sleep on the benches here sometimes. You can see this park from the train station across the tracks for a point of reference.”
