“Nice park to play football, soccer, baseball, volleyball or even toss a Frisbee around. Plenty of green open spaces! Take note: no restrooms, benches, picnic tables or any type of building for shade or rain protection. This park is one of Wheaton's water control (flood control) parks so it can be very wet after a heavy rain.”

“Good park to run the dog or take a nice walk. If you like pickup games of Baseball. Football, Soccer or throwing a Frisbee back and forth, lots of green open spaces for you to play. But there are no picnic tables, benches, restrooms or any type of shelters for shade. Also take note that this is one of Wheaton's water control parks (flood control) so it can be very wet after a rain.”

“Adorable little gem of a park. Some shade and not busy. I like these small parks just in the neighborhood. Plenty to do with digging, slides, bridges, ect to keep my 4 and 2 year olds busy and happy. The metal diggers are hard to operate without adult help, but they are fun. It also seems nestled off a quiet street so not a lot of traffic around to worry about. This probably wouldn't be very much fun for older kids but its Definitely great for little kids.”

“Really nice park, lots of space. Facilities for most major sports, also good for cross country/running (my team runs intervals there). There is a large playground and pavilion with bathrooms right next to it. Tennis courts, basketball courts. I only wish there were more trees so as to have a bit more shade.”

“The county fair grounds here are quite traditional, and for that reason also quite nice. In one stroll you can visit a steam engine demonstration center (not railroad engines - rather, the type of small engines used in farm work ), pet goats, sheep, cows, maybe even alpacas, check out livestock competitions, see nice arts and crafts displays, and gorge on cotton candy or bratwurst. Many other things too, along the way. BTW the parking is free and convenient.”
