“At the intersection of Roosevelt and Ardmore a few minutes ago, I saw a young white male panhandling. The guy was clean and dressed like any college student. I was waiting to turn left, about 8 cars back. I saw an officer slow down and put on his lights to talk to the kid. I figured he was going to scurry him along, but instead he handed him a bottle of water! It's hot today and that was a really kind gesture. Kudos to you, Villa Park Policeman who has a heart.”

“Wanted to give Lombard police 5 stars, I had my cell phone stolen during lunch at El Famous burrito. The man saw my phone left on the table while I was grabbing condiments for my food and decided to swipe it right off my table without me noticing. The establishment had cameras and did see the person pay with the credit card. So the officer came on site and was able to review everything in a professional manner. Long story short, The officer did follow through and was able to retrieve my phone after a few days. Thank You for the time and effort for handling this”

“Biking on a path that goes through Oak Brook, one of our bicycles malfunctioned. Although the reason two squat cars came by a couple of minutes apart from each other after we had been stuck there for a good 15min plus looks like someone called them on us, I flagged the second officer asking for a phillips screw driver. He didn't have one and kept going though he came back around again with a pair of pliers that equally helped us fix the bicycle and get going.”
