“Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery has been here since the 1920s. It is a well-known in the area. The grounds always kept very nice. Groundskeepers are very helpful to new comers here for the first time, showing visitors where loved ones are located, as well as the office employees. Keeping roads passable in the winter months as well. There also was a Veterans garden added to this cemetery in '04,'05 at the southeast corner of the cemetery w/ flags & a monument of military branches of service in the middle of the garden w/ walk way thru the middle. Built by the cemetery groundskeepers then.”
