“When I lost my job four years ago, and began living at the pads shelter, Monday night the winter program, Shepard of the lakes was the site for ladies and families to spend the night. I would need a five pages to rave about the people and volunteers at Shepard. We were treated as gold no less, you were not homeless you were guests, with banquet style dinner, movies running all night, supplies endless, free hair cuts, clothes galore, popcorn made before the movies, smokers could smoke all night in patio.. OMG list goes on. The ♥ of the people of this church can never be matched, I tear up at the memory of my nights there. If I ever have access to them so far away, it would be my church. I was blessed ???? to have known them.”
