  I met Barb via her free weekly Anxiety sessions about two years ago when I was having horrible anxiety. Although I was in CBT at the time, these sessions were great in helping me to understand that I was not alone in how I was feeling. They helped me to understand that this was not a life sentence and that I could live my life again with the debilitating effects of anxiety. I'm in a much better place right now thanks to Barb's support and guidance. I would definitely recommend her for you therapy needs. Thanks Barb!

  Barbara helped me with my stint with health anxiety tremendously. I would have panic attacks in stores, doctor offices, in my sleep, and just out in public, but didn't know how to deal with them, so that only made them worse. I was in desperate need for help and the skills she taught me got me back on my feet and into life in a matter of months. It's still been a journey, but I am 90% better than where I started and it's been several months since I've been jolted out of my sleep from panic attacks ever since I started practicing her skills everyday. I have recommended Barb to my friends who also suffer from anxiety and panic. Thanks to Barb, I now know how to flow with anxiety and not fight it and live my life.

  Barbara is a very skilled LCSW and a wonderful supervisor. Barbara was my supervisor during my internship during my graduate studies as a marriage and family therapist. Barbara brings her expertise to the table whether it be training young therapists, such as myself, or tending to a client. I was especially thankful to Barbara because she helped me through a tough transitional phase and helped me manage my anxiety around my professional career. Often, as therapist, we revel in doing the same work our clients do and Barbara allowed a safe and present place for me to work through each part of myself that was feeling overwhelmed as a full time student and unpaid intern. She, along with my university supervisor, cultivated and helped keep my confidence alive and taught me how to protect myself from burnout. I highly recommend Barbara for anyone who feels they have a problem too big to handle on their own (because we all do more often than not, am I right?), especially those who are trying to manage their stress during this difficult time we are facing as a country. My last meeting with Barbara was in August of 2018 and I still hear her and use the healthy coping mechanisms we worked on together. Thank you, Barbara, for all the hope and joy you’ve helped me maintain. I carry it with me every day.

  Barb is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to handling anxiety and general mental health with a compassion and empathy that knows not bounds. She is thoughtful, kind and funny too (when appropriate). Love her no nonsense approach to everything.
