Great natural place. Essential for the local ecosystem.
Easy to get to, lots of birds in the area. The LCFP had a naturalist there with spotting scopes so we could see the birds up close in the nests.Very interesting.
Was able to view a number of birds. Great Blue Heron, Egrets, Cormorants and ducks to name a few.
Very nice forest preserve
I give the birdwatching 5 stars. Great place to observe many different species in the spring. I wish the trail went farther around the marsh.
