Dr. Levine and staff have given my fiancée the gift of sight again! He has keratoconus and scleral lenses changed everything! He can see so much better and can’t be anymore thankful for them. Excellent, excellent, excellent care. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Tbey are informative on every aspect of your appointment. Dr. Levine is amazing as well. He fitted me for my first pair of scleral contacts, and made me feel more comfortable about wearing them instead of glasses. I can't thank Dr. Levine and his staff enough for never giving up on fitting me with the scleral lenses.....I have Dry Eye disease and they are such a benefit and relief to my eyes I couldn't be happier. I can wear them from the minute I get up to the minute I go to sleep and my eyes never hurt and no longer feel "dry" or itchy .....in my case the shape of my eyes made the fitting a little harder and it took longer to achieve than most, but Dr. Levine just kept adjusting and adjusting to get the perfect fit and I can't imagine living with out these now.....it was worth every effort and penny spent. I highly recommend Dr. Levine with Advanced Eye Care. I was diagnosed with keratoconus in 2012 and had collagen cross-linking surgery in 2014. After my diagnosis, my previous eye doctor of 15 plus years fitted me with hybrid contact lenses that were bad for my eyes. The area where the hard center of the contact and soft skirt meet was wearing on my cornea. That eye doctor did not have the knowledge or skills to fit scleral lenses. She tried, but quickly gave up and was going to put me back in the hybrid lenses. To complicate matters I have giant papillary conjunctivitis and pingueculas on both eyes. Each day I had to make the decision whether to see or be in pain. Thankfully I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Levine. He accomplished what my previous eye doctor and three other eye specialists could not. Dr. Levine is very honest, knowledgeable, and patient. He developed a plan to reduce the symptoms I had from wearing the hybrid lenses and patiently worked through the puzzle of finding the right sclera lenses for me. It is a process that is worth doing. It is difficult inserting and removing the lenses at first, but now it is no problem at all. My vision is so much better with these contacts and they are not damaging my eyes like the last ones. Thank you Dr. Levine for suggesting the scleral lenses and taking the time to fit me into the correct ones. It has been a lifechanging experience for me and has greatly improved my quality of my life.

I was diagnosed with keratoconus 10 years ago and I’ve struggled with just using glasses but was not enough especially at night. Last year around October I was surfing the web looking for a place that treated Keratoconus and came across Advanced Eyecare Consultants. The staff and Dr Robert Levine are wonderful and friendly. On my first appointment they were able to identify my problem and discussed scleral lenses. They fitted some lenses and was able to see 2020, I was very happy because I don’t remember the last time that I was able to see this clear. I know been wearing scleral lenses for almost a year now and it’s been great. I will highly recommend to anyone going through the same eye problems to visit Advanced Eyecare Consultants.
