Buffalo Grove Police Department‎

Sgt Jamil, Officer Drew, and Officer John Officer (love this guy's last name btw) were awesome tonight and really went above and beyond to provide me with some roadside assistance in negative degree weather. I will never forget the gesture. Thanks again gentlemen.

I called the Buffalo Grove Police on a whim when my Sons babysitter had locked her keys in her car. I remember the old days when the police would come out and assist with what they called a jimmy and open the door, then most departments would tell you to call a towing company and they would charge well over a hundred dollars.

Well, I call the non-emergency buffalo grove police and explained the issue, they were extremely pleasant, transferred me to dispatch and within 10 minutes a gentleman of a police officer appeared and unlocked her car and both were on there way.

These are the little but important things that our police do that they are not commended for as is for our village officials. Kudo's to Buffalo Grove!

There are many negative reviews on this site. I suggest those people take the Citizens Police Academy and see first hand what our police officers go through on a daily basis. It is a real eye opener. Our police department is the absolute best!!!

I had multiple interactions with the department officials, It's always a great experience,.I really liked all the officers whom I interacted with. Especially my kids like all the officers whenever we stopped at the signal lights, when my kids want to say "Hi" the way the department officers receives is simply superb. Thanks a lot for all your support and services to the community.
