He's great at coming up with challenging and engaging arrangements for the songs that I want to work on, so I'm always learning new techniques. “My son went to Warren several years ago and graduated after 4 years. The year he graduated, they held the ceremony in the football bleachers as one of the students set fire to the old school. It was a great school with great teachers back then, and it appears to be the same now judging from the reviews. The new building is beautiful and Gurnee is blessed to have it. ”

“Ok almost all the reviews from students are over dramatic, There ARE some bad teachers and i've had a few but overall the teachers (at least in the lynx halls) are ok and do care about your education, if you child is going into 7th grade then i suggest the hall with the Social Studies teacher Mr. Lakemaker, he is a amazing teacher and really has a fun class and cares if you learn, he made that year bearable for me and he is a great example of a good teacher. If you are a parent and your kids doesnt often get in trouble or lie then listen to them if they want to switch halls. The Drama club is well funded and a great place, they have a band program which i was not in but everyone who was loved it. I only know of one problem, harassment, there are quite a few bad apples and they can ruin a year so ask your kid and make sure that isnt happening but still give them space. In the end its not all that bad and i learned a lot and had fun.”

“Our children have been at Country Meadows since pre-school and we have been very pleased with their progress both academically and socially. Specifically, we value the school's focus on respect for every person (being different is OK!), the fluid way that students can move into and out of areas of interest, the fact that classes are structured with students of different ages, and the natural diversity that exists at the school. We also value the level of involvement that the teachers have with us as parents. I would say on average we get a phone call or SMS from the head teacher two times a week and emails weekly. She is always available for questions or concerns even on weekends. It is important to understand that this is a private school so, like nearly all private schools, the families pay for 100% of the costs the instructors, administrators, facilities, etc., etc. That said, the tuition is very competitive with the other Montessori schools in the area that we have looked at and it is a not for profit school. Finally, Country Meadows, while private, does not in any way feel 'exclusive' and the backgrounds and economic status of the families that we have come to know are about as broad as one could ever expect at a private school. We see that as a plus. ”

“I have two children enrolled 8 and 2. They have been there for 2 years. I love the staff there. I have built a relationship with them. I don’t feel my children are not being taken care of properly. The only reason I they didn’t give 5 stars is because of the inconsistency of some staff. In 2 years I have seen so many different teachers but I used to work in child care and currently working with children. We have had that happen too. But I do feel it affects the children that’s why it’s an issue for me. Overall my children are happy and healthy so I’m satisfied.”
