“This hotel was great for our visit with our recently graduated sailor. They put a sign on our door with his name on it, a nice touch. The room was perfect for our needs, included a microwave and fridge. The close proximity to the mall allowed us to have a lot to do with our sailor in his free time. The breakfast had a good fresh selection. The host at the desk offered to take our picture together which was above and beyond hospitality. We DID ask for extra pillows and blankets twice and they forgot to bring them at all... but I’ll be forgiving considering the influx of guests.”

I had one gripe about my visit: took my early toddler in for allergy testing, who had to sit w/ 20+ allergy "pokes" on his shirtless back for ~20 minutes. As expected, he was crying and upset afterward. Dr. Kaplan was in the room with us and we were having trouble talking over my crying son who was obviously uncomfortable after reacting to some of the samples. Dr. Kaplan asked in a seemingly annoyed tone, "What's the matter, did we miss a nap today or something?" I'm sure he meant no ill will, probably was having a long day...it just seemed like an odd thing to say in the situation. Other than that, my visit was as expected.”
