“Abra wanted quoted me me about 3 times as much for my broken rear window as any other used glass replacement in town. They also recommended "id auto" in Gurnee for an electrical issue. "Id auto" was great, for 30 minutes of my time. They only charged me $20. It was a minor electrical issue. My electrical is was a fuse. I had checked my fuses but I still missed what exactly was wrong. Id auto was very busy, but because it was raining and my power windows and wipers didn't work. Id auto bumped me up the list and got me out on the road.”

“David Nguyen, partner and principal mechanic, is my personal hero. He takes great care of my family's car repair needs, promptly and with smiles and hugs. He is HONEST, fast, and as hardworking as the day is long. I'm not sure I even want to recommend him, I want to keep him all to myself. His prices are 20-50% less than everywhere else, and I TRUST him. He's reviewed every used car purchase we've made in the last two years, and no lemons yet! He even hustled on a Sunday to fix our condenser when the A/C went out on our 10 year old Suburban before a long road trip. In short, we love him. If you're mean, just don't go there. If you're kind, and need a great repair fast and cheap, bring him food. He loves that. He does repairs major and minor. He only has two bays, so call ahead and schedule if you can. That's fair, right? One look at him, one hearing of his accented english, you'll know what I mean. He's family to us now.”

“"You get what you pay for". If you want it done right, this is the place! My check engine light was on, and i failed emissions. I brought my truck here, ON A SUNDAY MORNING, and Herb immediately started working on my car with the assistance of Calvin. They will definitely beat any price! For all of the work i needed, i probably would've paid over $500 somewhere else. Honestly paid half of that. If you need parts, they will get you a good deal on new ones. If the job will take longer than expected, they will get you a ride back home. However, i stayed (9am to 1pm) and enjoyed the company of them both! Lol. What was frustrating or hard to do for Herb, Calvin got in there, and pulled it off. It was the funniest thing ever though! Lol Needless to say, they got the job done. My check engine light is off and i passed emissions and got my sticker!!! They're good people and even better as a team. I highly recommend them. ????”

“I took 4 nice custom, but pitted and slightly rusted chrome wheels from my wife's Lincoln Navigator to J & J for powder coating. They said the wheels were to far gone and I would not be satisfied with the results. I just asked them to try... The wheels would definitely look better than they do now. Well J & J did their magic. the wheels cleaned up very nice and when powder coated silver, they looked like brand new. This was over three years ago, and they still look brand new.
