“This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised at how awesome the deep dish pizza was! I highly recommend it. Our Bartenders were really friendly and served us with a warm smile. You could tell they were happy to be there working and serving their customers. The Owner welcomed us and introduced himself as well. Its not very often we go to a restaurant and all the staff is so friendly. We will definitely be back! Looking forward to summer with their huge rooftop overlooking the lake! Beautiful place! “One of the best potato pancakes I've ever had! The baked french onion soup was very cheesy, other than lacking a bit of flavor it was really good. The spaetzle was a little different than from what I've had at other German restaurants so I'm not sure which one is actually the genuine one. Didn't care much for the sauce/gravy that it was topped with so next time I will get it plain. Service was excellent.”

“A work buddy was on his way into town and got into an accident. This Dunkin Donuts let him and his wife stay there till I got there to pick them up. Probably about 2 to 3 hours. So thank you. Only complaint is the bathrooms, really bad. When I got there before hitting the road again wanted to use it. I walked in and walked right out.”

“The store front can look deceptive as it is located next to a dive bar. But don't be fooled. Once inside the restaurant is clean and well organized. The menu has the typical Mexican food fare. The difference is in the price and portions you get. In my opinion the overall value of price to portions is more than reasonable. You do get good value. The order can be taken out, eaten there, or delivered. I have not had the delivery so I cannot rate that aspect. The food is prepared fresh and The kitchen can be seen. The kitchen is clean. I have had ordered from La Cocina several times and have never been disappointed in the food or service. You won't be disappointed if you choose to eat here.”

“What an unexpected gem? From the outside, you may think this is a boat launch with a bait and tackle shop. But, the parking lot was full. Feel free to park along the road. Several cars ended up doing that while we were there, and it seemed like it was a normal thing. The service was friendly and helpful. We asked for recommendations on a couple of things and were not disappointed. Get the house toast! The food was great. You get a lot of food for the money here. We will definitely be coming back. There are also slips along the water. So, during boating season, cruise on over.”

Rarely I find things missing, which while annoying is usually resolved without a problem. This is not one of the best Wendy's locations in terms of the consistency of the food quality, but it is one that we have no problem visiting again.”
