“I've been wanting to check out Nohadra Food Market for quite some time. Today I did. They are located in the strip mall in the southeastern corner of Washington & Milwaukee. They specialize in middle-eastern groceries. But it's not country-specific. I saw Coke and 7up from Bagdad (Iraq). Rice from Egypt. Tea from Morocco and Turkey. Coffee from Iraq, Syria, Greece, and Turkey. Sunflower seeds from Ukraine. I have no idea where the chips are from but the packages were outstanding. They have Assyrian style rolls, fresh Lebanese pita, and a flat bread from somewhere over there. Actually, I'm forgetting more than I'm remembering. Owners David and Fay were kind enough to show me around and told me the origin of all the wonderful things but this 59 year old mind forgot most. Stop by, try something new, tell your friends. If you're taking a stay-cation or if they still do show-n-tell this is a must-stop-shop.”

He does FFL transfers at a reasonable price and it is so awesome to go down and hang with him in his gun store which is in the basement of this private residence. I know, it sounds strange, but only because you aren’t used to it. This is a fully licensed gun shop just like any other. Everything is 100% by the book just like if you were to walk into a Bass Pro Shop, just way way cooler. Support small local business and give this guy a chance for your firearm transfer needs. “Stopped by, away from our home suburb, always up for new burger joints. My son as and I ordered a smoked burger, and their flocking chicken sandwich splitting both to try. Both very good. My wife ordered a single cheeseburger and so did my daughter...also ordered onion strings, this is where I became confused...they were red onions and not strings more like sizable onion disc, breading fell right off almost all of them. We did not order any drinks , we drank water...but if we did our bill for 4 sandwiches and onion side and 4 drinks would of been 70 bucks, our bill instead was 54.00 kinda pricey in my book . Atmosphere....hhhmm the huge empty bar in front of the seating area was kind of like you were eating in a place that was closing up for the night or for good ....also theres not one picture that I could find of the onion strings anywhere on the menu or on the wall so kinda expected typical onion strings....I would suggest a picture and or a better description on your menu.. Thanks I'm too far to come and try again but if I'm close I'll give it a 2nd shot”
