“We did the lunch buffet. It was very good, and reasinably priced. They had a great salad buffet, that came with the pizza buffet. They continued to bring out fresh food all the way up until the end, when they closed out the buffet. I was imoressed by this, because most places do not do this. Most places just leave out what they have, and you have to scavage from that. I did notice that they had alot of carry out orders during this time too...so that may have helped with them making constant fresh pizzas as well. Plus, they had a decent crowd in there the whole time too. Overall, this was one of the best pizza buffets I have been to in a long time. We will definitely be going back!!”

“We just enjoyed yet another egg-cellent breakfast with world-class service at the Country Inn Cafe & Motel! We do so almost every week. The food is always hot and cooked to order. The facilities are organized and clean. The staff is always warm and friendly. You really cannot ask for much more at a small town location. The setting and vibe is a perfect combination of Luke's Diner meets Cheers 😁. They also offer delectable lunch and dinner specials, including some of the best fried chicken around 🤤🤤. I have never had the need to stay at the motel. But I have had several friends and family stay at the motel and they always rave about the friendly staff as well as the neatness and cleanliness of the rooms. (Not to mention, very reasonable all the way around) P.S. Try Grandma's homemade biscuits (with sausage gravy) and massive cinnamon rolls! I promise that you will not be disappointed!”

“I must say our waiter Jakob was absolutely AMAZING today. This young man was the best waiter we have had in years at any restaurant. Today being Mother’s Day and being swamped he was calm as could be. Very polite and continuously apologized to us about it taking so long. We understood they were busy so that was okay. He was prompt and more than willing to help. As a mother of a young man who works in the food industry as well it really meant a lot to experience such incredible service today. Hopefully the parents also see this review as I want them to know what an amazing young man they have raised. We also had the raspberry cream sliced pie, and their pumpkin pie. You can really taste the clothes and the spice in the pumpkin pie it wasn’t too bad. The raspberry cream for me was outstanding. The woman at the drive through was also so sweet. I have lived near this place for 3 years and didn’t try it until recently because it was so small but I underestimated it. The spicey sauce was on point, brisket was some of the best I had. Mac and cheese was yummy but could maybe be a little better. Baked beans were delicious and the caramel cake was to die for. I don’t like cake and donuts but I had to steal the cake from my boyfriend. Try it once. Just once. You will be back. We just came to get some for Mother’s Day and we were in Saint Louis. The hour drive to and from was worth it.”

I could of had 5 more bowls of that!! Our waitress was very attentive and brought us refill soft drinks without asking. Their prices were very reasonable and the portions were nice sized.
