“I went there with my sister and her kids it was a great experience. One thing that I would gi e a little caution to is the brick steps that is going down to the main walking area my nephew slipped on them. The park was great there was kids they're playing around and during the summer time the splash park is on. If you like Outdoors I would recommend going there.”

“One of my favorite parks in the area to go adventuring. Trails are great, there's some single track which is nice. Almost always see deer and the occasional coyote.”

“This is a lovely little playground! Because it's in the middle of a big neighborhood it doesn't have a parking lot, which is a little unusual, but there is street parking. The playground equipment is nice if you have a toddler because it's not too tall.”

“Lovely walk around the water ! The trails were secluded & well wooded ! Can’t wait to go there in the summer ! Small board walk trail that takes you to a neat little spot by the marsh ! Looking forward to spending more time here as weather gets nicer ! Was a bit muddy today. Saw some geese swimming in the water ~ very peaceful !”

“I grew up in Oakwood Hills and spent every summer of my life swimming here. Beaches are always clean, water is always clean! I came back this summer after 15yrs of living outside of Oakwood Hills to swim, and still a beautiful private lake! It’s spring fed so the water is always clean! They don’t allow boats with motors, just row and paddle boats which make it an even bigger plus!”

“Sightseeing Park...... This is not a play group park or going for a trail walk park. You cannot launch a boat here either. There isn't a place to have a gathering under any type of structure. It's just a beautiful spot to relax and look out at the water. There is one bench and a very very old basketball hoop and small concrete court. Lots a room to play catch or soccer. There is a baseball field across the creek. Would you have to walk to.”

“The day we went it was extremely cold. About 4 degrees. The one big thing that day was 7 Eagles fishing an taking turns messing with the young baby eagles about a year old. It made for a great afternoon. There is a hiking trail that follows the Fox River and a creek for a ways. In the spring and summer through fall its popular for pickniks parties and fishing. If you do happen to bring beer or wine be carefull to check the rules. Certain months out of the year No alcohol is allowed.”
