“It's a marsh. It's muddy ???? lots of poop from various wildlife on the path, and there's a few parts that are currently blocked off for one reason or another. It's a good hike and generally you'll be on your own in there. Watch for ticks!”

“When I came to Pheasant Haven, the first thing I noticed was how large their hunting range was. Now, I'm not an avid hunter or anything so I may not have a lot to compare it to, but they had countless fields with pheasants just running around all over. I did some photography out there, and it wasn't hard at all to find anything to take pictures of, and that's without even having any extra pheasants released. Also, Lee (the owner) is a very friendly guy and seems to enjoy what he does. That's a huge bonus when looking for a place to hunt. From what I heard, they have plans to renovate their club house, so this place seems like it's great place to enjoy some hunting.”

“Nicely manicured grounds and plenty of picnic tables, along with fairly clean (for a public beach) restrooms. Parking is super convenient and abundant. $1/person for residents but $14/person for non-residents, so be aware of that. There are concessions on site.”
