They are very courteous, friendly and concerned about getting us patients back into working order. And Mary at the front desk is the best receptionist in town! “Great food. Outside dining. Edit: Planning an event for a large group. I met with Kathy, the manager, who was delightful and answered all of my questions. She is very knowledgeable and willing to work with you to make the event seamless. New doors added to the addition make it easier to access the Creekside. Bathrooms are updated and accessible. Second Edit: Had my class reunion there this weekend. Food was wonderful. Facility was great. Only issue was with the acoustics in the room. A microphone would have been very helpful so that the group of 40 could hear the speaker.”

“Our family has had the pleasure of having two children attend Creative Kids in Columbia, IL. The oldest, now 7, is a Sky kid graduate and my middle daughter is 5 and currently in the Rainbow room. I cannot express how much my girls have enjoyed it there. The teachers, staff, building and curriculum are so conducive to a loving, creative and learning environment for my children. We first learned of Creative Kids after my oldest daughter, then almost 2 1/2 yrs old, had been enrolled at a Montessori school nearby for about 3 months. We were very disappointed with the Montessori method including that there was no daily sheets or any real communication from the staff about how my child's day went, what she ate or whether she had napped. At Creative Kid's we get all the info that we needed to know that she was enjoying her time there, eating well, napping and learning! What a welcomed difference! My husband and I are so impressed with how our two older daughters have excelled at Creative Kids, that we already have talked to management about securing a spot for our now 10 month old son once he is ready for the Sunshine room. :) Oh, and the food!!! My girls are known for saying that "Mrs. Potts is the best cook ever!"”

“I had a great weekend learning how to properly swing a golf club. Ed starts building the swing with the putter and progresses the swing from there. My focus has changed from the ball to the swing and the concept of visualization. I left the weekend more confident in my understanding of the golf swing and more confident in my ability to transform my swing. I’m a high handicap golfer and I would really recommend a weekend with Ed to anyone beginning out or a high handicapper wanting to improve their swing. I know Ed has classes for all levels and I cannot speak to the other classes, but can definitely say he is a great instructor and has a very good understanding of how to properly swing a club.”

“L&J just put a new roof on my home after I had considerable damage from a wind storm. Joe made the entire process a breeze! He worked with me and the insurance company, explaining everything and was patient about answering my questions. Getting the new roof scheduled was FAST, and they did the whole thing in a day. The work site was very clean! Aside from the house having a new roof, you couldn't tell anyone was there. The new roof has a couple improvements (seemingly industry standard now) from the old one, and L&J offers a great warranty on their work. I couldn't be happier. THANKS!!!”

“This was a good hike, but short, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. It is pretty much all uphill but once you get to the top elevation, the views are awesome. The whole trail is about 2-2.5 miles if you do the whole thing, from the car and back. You do have to park down the road a little and walk about half a mile total to get to the actual start of the trail. I would go again in warmer weather for sure.”

“I had appointment with Dr. Tami Boren the other day. I haven't been to the doctors in about a year due to a busy work life. Setting up the first appointment was easy and to my surprise they were able to schedule me in quickly. I have a myriad of health problems and Dr. Boren showed the upmost compassion and conveyed a sincere abundance of empathy, that I have yet to experience from a Doctor. Prior to making an appointment I read the reviews and found a few complaints about staff treatment. I will speak my mind on this. When it comes to the medical field you can be negligent or you can be verbal. You have the chance to help save someones life or they could die under your care. I want a doctor like Tami who ensures quality and care like she does, and takes the time to vocalize with her staff on issues as soon as they arrive!”
