Has scenic overlook boardwalk that expanses across a steep hillside, adjacent to the welcome center, to take in the breathtaking views of the Mississippi River. The old Chester Bridge is also well visualized from the boardwalk, and most impressive is the unobstructed view of the construction of the new Chester Bridge over the Mississippi River being constructed. Anyone interested in bridge construction, this would be a must-see event. The website for this welcome center says it's open 24 hours a day. While this may be true for the outside amenities, the welcome center structure was closed and locked on our visit.”
