“Edit Review: Our first experience was great, the second one, not so much. Went to scale, had to rescale and when we went in to retrieve the ticket, they gave us the wrong one. Had to scale again, then realized we had the wrong ticket. Then had to scale again and pay for the cashier's mistake!! Said they needed to ask the manager and we did not have time to wait, so paid and left. TO ALL DRIVERS NEEDING TO SCALE YOUR LOAD: Please make sure they give you the right ticket or you will waste your time and money rescaling several times !! Needed to scale a load for delivery. Quick in and out. Friendly staff.”

“I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. I have only glowing recommendations. Where to start. I will start at the door, you can walk in and try to get a golden egg. Usually there is a wait but it doesn't really matter because you know what you will get will be worth the wait. The waiting area has some fascinating things to look at and do. It's been holding your attention for years and just seems to be a step back to a simpler time. Once you get seated you are inundated with smells of chicken and fritters to die for... Your dining experience will be finger licking and so tasty it's almost a guarantee. I can only say nothing but good things. Just remember that generation after generation of people have enjoyed this place and for the greatest reasons!! Please enjoy like me and the rest of the thousands and thousands of satisfied customers since the 1920's..!! It shows that there is nothing wrong with doing something right!”

“This Forest preserve is very very clean with plenty of garbage cans a recycling bin plenty of parking space. They even have a couple Stationary barbecue grills. They even have a public washroom that isnt a porto potty!”
