(September 5, 2018, 10:40 am)Enchanted Shores RV park is a very quiet and secure location 2.5 miles west of I-57 between Kankakee and Matteson, IL.
Don, the manager, is a great host and very very helpful. Prices are very reasonable and the lowest in the area. They have pull through and back in like lots, 30 and 50 amp services with full hookups. There is a small play ground and open areas and a pavilion for picnicing. The roads could use work and there is no perminant lake or pond.
There are few amenities but the hosts do have game and movie nights through the month and have complimentary pizza during the events. They also carry out workshops for yoga and other hobbies.
There is no Wi-Fi or cable available and the hot spot area is weak. Airial antenna will grab more than 10 channels.
If you don't know how to mantain your hot water system it will smell at this location.
I am there for a work assignment 30 miles north in South Chicago. It appears that most of the tenants are workers also it is always quiet and the residents aways have a wave and a smile. I have been at this location since March of and on and will always return when working the southern Chicago area.

(March 2, 2018, 11:38 am)We have been here for 4 years. Manager has always been very understanding and friendly. It was supposed to be temporary but now we love it. Wake up everyday and we're camping! Great people. Great friends. I think the bad reviews are people who caused trouble and we're probably asked to leave. I love this place ????????⛺⛺
